Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your PrimalScan account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how, and what is removed.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open PrimalScan on your device or at primalscan.org.
2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
3. Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm the warning. Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out.

What is deleted

• Your account credentials and sign-in records
• Profile information (email, username, diet, goals)
• Scan history and analyses
• Streak data and progress
• Coach chat history stored on your device
• Subscription status records held by PrimalScan
• Push notification tokens for your devices
• Any other personal data we store about you

What is retained

When you delete your account, we delete your personal account data and history. We may retain minimal anti-abuse records, such as a hashed trial identifier, to prevent repeated free-trial abuse, fraud, or misuse. These records do not contain your email, profile, scans, chats, or images.

We may also retain a minimal record where required by law (for example, billing receipts kept for tax purposes). Active subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play must be cancelled separately in your store account; deleting your PrimalScan account does not automatically cancel those store subscriptions.

Timeline

Deletion from the app is immediate. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
